Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy explains how we produce and deliver custom orders from Cost Cutter Packaging. Because our products are made to order, your total time to delivery has two parts: production time and shipping time. Please read both sections below so you know what to expect. This policy is part of, and should be read alongside, our Terms & Conditions.
1. Production Time vs Shipping Time
Production time is how long it takes to manufacture your custom order. It generally begins after you approve the final artwork and complete any required payment, not from the moment you place an inquiry.
Shipping time is how long the carrier takes to deliver your finished order after it leaves our facility. Your total time to receive an order is production time plus shipping time.
2. Production and Turnaround
Most custom orders are ready in approximately 14 business days after final artwork approval, though this varies with the product, quantity, and finishes you choose. Larger or more complex orders may take longer. We will give you an estimated production timeline, and a firm in-hands date where possible, before you pay.
3. Where We Ship
We ship to destinations across the United States and Canada. If you need delivery outside these regions, contact us before ordering and we will let you know what is possible.
4. Shipping Methods and Carriers
We ship using trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, or freight for large orders. The method used depends on the size, weight, and destination of your order, and on any timeline you need. Where a faster method is available, we can quote it on request.
5. Shipping Costs
Free first-order shipping. New customers receive free shipping on their first order within the United States and Canada.
Standard shipping. For other orders, shipping is calculated based on size, weight, destination, and method, and is shown in your quote or at checkout before you pay. There are no hidden shipping fees added later.
6. Estimated Delivery Times
Once your order ships, typical transit times are approximately 7 business days within the US and Canada, depending on destination and method. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.
7. Order Tracking
When your order ships, we will send tracking information to the email address on your order so you can follow its progress. If you have not received tracking within a reasonable time after your expected ship date, please contact us.
8. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For orders that cross the border between the United States and Canada, customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees may apply and, where they do, are typically the responsibility of the recipient unless we state otherwise. Customs processing can also add time that is outside our control.
9. Delivery Delays
We work hard to meet estimated timelines, but some delays are outside our control, including carrier delays, weather, customs, high-demand periods, and incomplete or late artwork approvals. Production and shipping estimates are not guarantees, and we are not liable for delays caused by these factors. If your order is time-sensitive, tell us up front and we will do our best to plan around your deadline.
10. Risk of Loss
Unless we state otherwise, risk of loss passes to you once your order is handed to the carrier. This is consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
11. Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Shipments
Please inspect your order on arrival. If it arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or does not match your approved specifications, contact us within 7 days of delivery, or of the expected delivery date for a lost shipment, with your order details and clear photographs. Where a claim is valid, our responsibility is limited to reprinting, replacing, or refunding the affected portion of the order, at our option, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
12. Address Accuracy
Please make sure your shipping address is complete and correct. We are not responsible for orders delayed or delivered to the wrong place because of an incorrect or incomplete address you provided, and reshipment in that case may incur additional charges.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when. Changes take effect when posted.
